CroatianTV-America's Programs can be received virtually anywhere in the continental United States. A fairly unobstructed view (a fairly clear line-of-sight) is needed between the small receive antenna and the satellite. The Americom 4 (AMC-4) satellite is located at the 101° W.L. satellite location, which requires the receive antenna to be pointed in generally a southwestern direction from most areas of the country.

In rare cases, tall trees, buildings or mountains may block the satellite signal to the receive antenna or pose a challenge during installation; this problem generally occurs when you have these types of obstructions in locations where the receive antenna requires a very low elevation-angle setting (i.e., 9 or 10 degrees), such as along the East Coast. For most installations, even in more easterly areas requiring lower elevation-angle settings, this isn’t a problem, particularly since the receive antenna can be installed in a variety of places to achieve the strongest satellite signal.
